I agree 100% with most of the messaging throughout.  That opportunities really are out there for people commited to what they believe in and have the stomach to follow through.   That sometimes (just sometimes) what we are taught to think and do doesn't have to be right.   I guess the challenge is figuring out which parts you want to reject and which you want to embrace.

Your "art" being something you enjoy and have a passion for.  The "lizard" being all the thoughts we convince ourselves with about why things won't work.
